We offer a compassionate, trauma-informed, and non-judgemental approach. We work with people who have experienced abuse in any form, supporting them to understand and process the impact of trauma and how it may affect different areas of their lives. Our work focuses on safety, understanding, empowerment, and recovery.
Our Compassionate Approach
We compassionately support individuals who are concerned about their thoughts, feelings, or behaviours, including those who may be at risk of harming themselves or others. This may include difficulties relating to sexual thoughts or identity, emotional regulation, violence, substance use, personality-related difficulties, or relationship problems. Individuals may or may not have had contact with the criminal justice system.
We provide a safe, non-judgemental space where individuals can explore challenges and work towards recovery, reestablishing relationships and guiding towards change. Northlight values recovery, and self-management that guides harm prevention.
